To everyone celebrating, Happy Thanksgiving. This year, for the first time in a few years, I am celebrating back home in California. My extended family doesn’t know I’m in town, so they’ll probably be pretty excited. I’ll be back in Washington on Saturday morning, courtesy the red eye on Virgin America.

I walked off the metro at Farragut North, as I usually do in the morning and this morning, I saw a man in a suit continuously beat his chest and make ape like noises. This guy didn’t look crazy or anything. He looked like your typical I Street middle manager. Odd stuff.
